Description
4/29/26 - This is an excellent example of a very late Sauer 38h made at the end of WW2. It is all matching and has no firing or acceptance proofs. It was never issued to the military and likely never made it out of factory before WW2 was over. The gun is excellent, retaining about 96% of its original finish. There are hints of wear on the high edges in general and around the muzzle. There is one small area of wear at the base of the back strap. There are a few very light handling marks on the left side of the slide. Fitted with excellent period-correct black bakelite grips. The bore is mint. It comes as a rig with two proper half-moon magazines and an "sat 44" marked 1944 black leather holster (some light surface cracking in the leather on the top flap).
