Description
6/29/21 - This is an excellent example of a Sauer 38h that was put together at the end of WW2, in 1945. It was likely put together from left over parts, as the gun has unusual mismatched numbers throughout. Perhaps the GI who captured had it numbered this way in order to bring it home - we can't say for sure, that's lost to history. The gun has no slide legend or other proof markings. It has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is a hint of wear around the muzzle and small areas of splotchy discoloration and pitting on both sides of the slide, on both straps, and on the tang. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. Mint bore.Specifications
