Description
09/28/26 - For sale is an Enfield No1 Mk3* SMLE chambered in .303 British and made in 1917. The rifle shows wear to its finish, turning a darker grey mixed with brown patina. The stock retains a nice dark color but the surface has been sanded. The right side of the stock is marked E.Y. for "Emergency Use". The fore-stock is not numbered. The bore is fairly bright with good rifling. The surface is frosting over with oxidation. The rifle has matching numbers on the bolt, receiver, rear sight, and nose cap. The rifle comes with a 1917-dated sling that had been dyed black and a Wilkinson-made Pattern 1907 bayonet made in 1907 and reworked in 1919. The scabbard is in great shape.
