Engraved, Gold Colt Model 1902 Military

1/14/26 - This is a beautiful example of a Colt Model 1902 Military Automatic pistol, manufactured in 1918 and chambered in .38 Colt Auto. The entire gun has a deep high-polish blue finish and features intricate filigree / scroll engraving patterns throughout. There are also gold-inlayed highlights and the letter "W" on the top of the slide (also in gold). There is no visible signature that we can see, so we don't know where this work was done. However, the engraving is incredibly detailed and clean, so the work was likely done by a master engraver. The engraving work and gold inlay is complimented really well with a gorgeous set of pearl grips. The gun comes with one magazine (same engraving on the base) and an S.D. Meyers leather holster that also features a very nice floral engraving pattern. The gun shows essentially no signs of wear or use, except for a couple of tiny dots of discoloration on the slide. Excellent, shiny bore with great rifling.
