SOLD - Etched Kriegsmarine Dagger with Portepee & Hanger (050825-2 - RK)

5/12/25 - For sale is an original WW2 Kriegsmarine Officer's dress dagger with an etched (engraved) blade, scabbard, and original portepee. The dagger blade is maker stamped by EuF horsteron one side, and has crisp etchings on both sides. There's some very minor surface speckling wear and light scabbard rub wear and surface scratches, but overall the blade is in great condition. No signs of sharpening. The original stopper is still intact, and the hand guard is in great condition with mild surface patina throughout. The handle and pommel show similar signs of aging and surface wear, but there's no major cracks or chips. The portepee has fraying and wear along the chord just after the cross guard about 1", but the knot is excellent and tight. The Hanger is also in great shape with some patina and scurffs to the metal. Strap is in good shape overall.
