2/25/26 - This is an excellent DWM Artillery Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1917. The gun is all matching and has the correct German Imperial proofs on the right side of the slide. It is in excellent condition, retaining around 97% of its bluing. Most of the wear is on the side plate, but there is a hint of wear on some of the high edges. Minor freckling around the muzzle and on the straps. There are small areas of wear at the base of both straps. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling. Fitted with excellent grips and a mismatched WW1-era magazine. The left panel is unmarked but right panel is numbered and matching to the gun. From the Robert Saltsman collection.
