Description
5/29/26 - This is an excellent example of a 1920's DWM P.08 Luger that was produced for the commercial market. This Luger, chambered in .30 Luger, bears the "Germany" export mark on the right side of the frame just above the grip panel, which indicates that this commercial Luger was most likely sent to the US or English markets. This P.08 has retained about 97% of its original finish, with most loss existing as light high-edge wear and hints of muzzle wear. There is also a small spot of oxidation under the tang. This DWM is fitted with period-correct wood grip panels, though the right grip panel is just stamped with a "V" underneath, and the left grip panel is stamped "97" and an E/655 proof. Neither grip panel shows any signs of chips or cracks, though the right grip panel does show an indentation/smoothing towards the top of the panel just below the "Germany" export mark.. The bore within the .30 Luger barrel is bright with strong rifling throughout.
