3/5/26 - This is a rare Krieghoff Luger issued to the Luftwaffe in 1937. There were only about 2,000 Krieghoff Lugers produced in 1937, so finding one in this condition is not easy. This one is all matching with the proper "Eagle L2" military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 96% of its original high polish finish with very minor high edge wear, muzzle wear, a few tiny handling marks / scratches on the front strap. Excellent straw finish on the small parts. Fitted with correct reddish-brown phenolic Krieghoff grips and comes with an un-numbered but "Eagle L2" proofed magazine. The bore has great rifling, but there is noticeable freckling in the grooves.
