SOLD - Excellent 1939 Mauser Luger (2716V - 34695 - SJ)

Description

12/19/24 - This is an excellent example of a 1939 Mauser Luger issued to the German military during WW2. It is all matching, including all of the small parts, and has the proper "Eagle 63" military acceptance proofs. The gun has retained about 95% of its original finish, with minor finish loss along the high edges, at the front of both side rails, around the muzzle, and one tiny area on the trigger guard. Some light thinning in a couple spots along the right side of the barrel and at the very bottom of the front strap. A bit of scratchy wear on the side plate. While there is not a lot of actual finish loss, there are small specs of oxidation visible throughout both straps. Excellent bore, shiny with sharp rifling. Grips are in overall excellent condition, but there is a small area of mild smoothing halfway down the left panel. Comes with a mismatched, but proper FXO WW2 magazine.
