Description
3/16/26 - This is an excellent example of a Mauser Banner Luger issued to the Nazi police force in 1940. One of only about 4,600 made. It is all matching, has the proper police "Eagle L" proof on the right side of the slide, and has an installed police sear safety. The barrel is un-numbered and has an "Eagle SU1C" marking on it. It comes as a rig with one original matching-numbered magazine and a 1934-dated police holster that is also numbered and matching to the gun. The gun itself has retained about 96% of its finish. Just very minor high edge wear, muzzle wear, and a few tiny marks on the grip straps. There is some very light pin-pricking under the bluing on the side plate, so we believe the side plate has been refinished. Fitted with minty un-numbered and "Eagle 655" proofed wood grips. Mint bore.
