Description
5/15/26 - This is an excellent example of a Mauser Banner Luger issued to the Nazi police force in 1940. One of only about 4,600 made. It is all matching, has the proper police "Eagle L" proof on the right side of the slide, and has an installed police sear safety. The barrel is un-numbered and is marked "S/42". It comes as a rig with two original matching-numbered magazines, and Eagle 655 tool, and a minty 1939-dated police holster - it is numbered on the back but not matching to the gun. The gun itself has retained about 96% of its finish with just very minor muzzle wear, some wear on the side plate, hints of wear on the side rails, and some very light freckling on the grip straps. Fitted with minty un-numbered and "Eagle 655" proofed wood grips - tiny chip in the upper corner of the left side. The bore has strong rifling and is mostly shiny, but there is noticeable freckling in the grooves.
