Description

2/4/22 - This is an excellent Nazi Walther P.38 from May of 1941. It's a second variation example with about 97% of the original high-polish blue remaining. Matching numbers throughout, except for the grips (unnumbered right panel, mismatched left). Not much bluing loss on this gun but there is some notable oxidation on the left side of the slide. Bore has strong rifling but freckling throughout the grooves. Correct grips with E/359 proofs internally. Original early Walther magazine with mismatched serial on the baseplate. Good mechanically, including de-cocker.
