Description
3/11/26 - This is an excellent example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It is "United States Property" marked, has the proper "GHD" inspection initials, and has a military cross-canon cartouche. Correct Colt barrel with a large "G" under the lug. The slide is numbered and matching. The gun's original parkerized finish rates about 95% with muzzle wear, some very light spotty wear along the right side of the slide, and one small spot of wear on the right side of the frame. Fitted with period-correct reddish-brown plastic grips and comes with an "R" marked magazine (re-blued). Mint bore.
