Description
10/2/26 - This is an excellent example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It is all correct, with all of the proper markings throughout. The slide is properly numbered and matching, and it has a correct "Colt .45 Auto" barrel with a small "F" under the lug. About 96% of the original parkerized finish remains, with just a hint of thinning on the front strap and very minor high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with excellent period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with a proper "S" marked magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling. A crisp, all-correct wartime Colt.
