Description
6/23/26 - This is an excellent example of an Ithaca Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It has the proper proofs, "FJA" inspector initials, and has an "HS" marked High Standard barrel. It comes as a rig with a noticeably-worn 1942-dated Boyt holster (the name "MANNING" is scratched onto the top flap), a period-correct canvas belt, canvas magazine pouch, one proper WW2 magazine, and two post-war magazines. The gun itself has retained about 97-98% of its original parkerized finish with just hints of high edge wear, some spotty patina and light pitting on the front strap, and some light scuffs here and there. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips. Mint bore.
