Description
8/6/26 - This is an excellent example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1944. It has the proper "GHD" inspection initials, United States Property marking, and a cross-canon military cartouche on the right side of the frame. It also has a correct Colt barrel with a small "F" under the lug. It comes as a rig with a period-correct A.L.P. Co tan leather holster, period-correct canvas belt, period-correct canvas magazine pouch, and three proper magazines (one is marked S, the others are marked R). The gun has retained about 95% of its parkerized finish with just minor high edge / muzzle wear and some spotty discoloration on the grip safety. Fitted with correct reddish plastic grips. Like-new bore.
