6/14/21 - This is an excellent example of a Berlin Lubecker G.43 rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1944. The gun is all matching and has the proper waffen proofs throughout. The stock has a matching number and the proper waffen proofs as well. Overall, the gun is excellent, retaining almost all of its finish. There is some minor wear near the muzzle and some spotty oxidation on the barrel and barrel band. The stock is excellent, but the markings are fainting, indicating it may have been sanded. The handguard is a cherry-colored wood. May have been replaced at some point. Comes with and original cleaning rod and correct magazine. The bore is minty.
