Description
10/6/25 - This is an excellent example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in December of 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" military acceptance proofs throughout. There are two asterisk proofs on the right side of the slide, indicating it failed initial inspection and was repaired at the factory. This is a desirable trait for some collectors. It comes as a rig with two jvd magazines and a period-correct black leather holster (the stitching from the bottom of one of the belt loops is missing). The gun has retained about 96-97% of its original finish. There is just minor muzzle wear and very minor thinning on the front strap. There are some visible machine marks on the slide (typical for these late-war guns). Fitted with period-correct blackish-brown bakelite grips. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
