Description
1/22/26 - This is an excellent example of a Springfield M1 Garand from 1955. The barrel is Springfield-marked and dated January of 1955. Both the barrel and stock have the proper DOD acceptance stamps. The metal parts have retained about 95% of their original finish with just very minor high edge wear, mostly on the trigger guard. The wood furniture is very nice overall with just small dings and bruises throughout, no major damage. There are a couple of more noticeable gouges on the top of the upper handguard. Minty bore.
