Description
7/23/26 - This is an excellent American Derringer Corp. Model M-1 over-under derringer chambered in .357 Magnum. The Model 1 line was introduced in 1980 and follows the classic Remington over-under derringer pattern in a modern stainless steel configuration. This example is serial numbered 115685, with the serial stamped vertically at the frame/barrel hinge area. The right barrel properly denotes the stainless steel construction, caliber designation, and right barrel flat is marked with the American Derringer Corp. Waco, Texas address. The left barrel carries the loading safety warning and the left flat shows the M-1 model marking. The left side of the frame is marked with the fire/safe safety legend. The stainless finish rates excellent overall, showing only a few scattered minor very fine surface scratches and light rub marks. All markings remain factory-crisp, and the reddish wood grip panels are excellent with no visible cracks. The bores are both excellent with sharp rifling, and just very minor signs of use. Mechanics are smooth, and the trigger works well.
