Description

10/7/20 - This is an excellent example of a Walther PPK issued to the German banking system (Reichsbank) around 1932. These bank guns had a pantographed slide serial number and a matching numbered finger extension magazine. The magazine is also the rare slab side mag. This particular gun is all matching and happens to come with its original matching magazine. They also typically have painted sights, as is true of this example. It is in excellent condition, having retained around 95% of its original bluing. Generally, there is minor muzzle wear and high edge wear on the slide and tang. Most of the wear is spotty wear on the front strap. The brown Walther grip is beautiful - just one small hairline crack on the left side. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling. One issue is that it has a 60 degree safety which must have been swapped as it is a later safety than the 90 degree that it was issued with. For this reason the price has been reduced to reflect the part "swap".
