Description
7/22/26 - This is an excellent example of a Bauer 25 Automatic, a stainless steel pocket pistol, chambered manufactured by Bauer Firearms Corp. in Fraser, Michigan. Produced from 1972-1984, with the serial number dating this example’s production to 1978, these were developed as the stainless steel version of the iconic Baby Browning pattern, complete with fixed sights and synthetic mother of pearl grips. Overall condition is excellent, with the pistol retaining nearly all of its finish. The brushed stainless surfaces remain bright and clean, with scattered light handling marks and a tiny bit of darkening along portions of the slide and frame junction, around the ejection port, near the grip edges. The bore is shiny with strong rifling, and very minor signs of use. Slide and trigger mechanics are excellent, and the grips show very minimal handling marks. Comes with one original magazine, which is in great shape with light insertion wear, and is marked on the tube with a handwritten “6”, which likely denotes the number of chamberable rounds.
