Description
7/21/26 - This is an excellent example of a 2nd Generation Colt Single Action Army revolver from 1956. Chambered in .38 Special with a 5.5 inch barrel. According to the included Colt Factory letter, it was shipped to Freeland Scope Stand Company in Rock Island, Illinois on November 30, 1956. It also comes with its original matching-numbered box. There is very nice high polish bluing on the barrel, cylinder, and grip straps. Beautiful case-hardening on the frame. It has retained about 95% of its finish with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, minor thinning on the grip straps, and a roll mark on the cylinder. Fitted with period-correct black plastic grips. Like-new bore.
