SOLD - Excellent, Boxed Colt 1908 Vest Pocket

10/7/20 - This is a Colt 1908 Vest Pocket in its original box with holster, box of vintage ammunition, and a folder of paperwork on the pistol. The gun itself has gorgeous case hardening on the small parts and generally excellent blue, but there is some freckling or corrosion in the serrations, slide legend, right side of slide and a little on the back of the frame. The gun comes in the original factory box which is hand numbered to the pistol on the bottom. Included with this listing are the Colt factory letter stating it went to Tritch Hardware in Denver, but also has the original purchase receipt from the hardware store and is dated to 1918! A brief history of how the gun was purchased is also included and signed by a previous seller. The folder includes additional Colt manuals and basic paperwork. Comes with an excellent Gaskill's holster, and a box of old Winchester .25 ammo.
