Description
10/5/26 - This is an excellent example of a pre-war Colt Government Model sold in the commercial market in 1930. It is all correct, and the slide is numbered and matching to the frame. It wears a really nice high polish Colt blue finish that has retained about 97%, with just very minor high edge and muzzle wear, an area of brown patina and a few scratches on the front strap, and a few scratches on the slide, most noticeable on the left side. There is an area of oxidation and minor pitting at the back left of the slide. Fitted with minty wood grips. It comes with one proper two-tone magazine, a period-correct (un-numbered) box, hang tag, and cleaning brush. Excellent, shiny bore with strong rifling. A beautiful, boxed pre-war Colt in excellent condition.
