Description
4/11/26 - Here we have a Smith & Wesson Model 17-2 revolver for sale with its original matching box. The gun was manufactured in the later 1960's. It has a 6" barrel. The original bluing on the gun rates about 94-95%. There is finish loss around the muzzle, on the ejector rod, and on the left side of the frame. There is also some high edge wear present. The hammer and trigger have a nice case hardening to them. The grips are in great shape and just have a few tiny dents. The grips are unnumbered, and the right grip has "San Francisco 1968" written on the inside in pencil. The bore is bright with strong rifling. Inside the box is an owner's manual.
