Description

3/22/17 - This is a Mauser byf 44 P.38 in excellent condition, with the original capture paper included!  The finish rates at about 98%, with just some slight edge wear on the left side and a little finish loss on the trigger guard.  It comes with a beautiful set of reddish grips, and an E/135 marked magazine.  The capture paper has some ripping at the folds as many of these do, but the serial can be made out.  Bore is shiny with excellent rifling, but maybe a slight frosting - I would rate it 8/10.  It's getting harder and harder for us to find nice guns with capture documents as many collectors grab these up and don't let go.
