Description
10/2/26 - This is an excellent example of a BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. The gun is all matching and wears the proper "Waffen 135" military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with one "Waffen 706" jvd marked magazine and a very nice 1944-dated soft shell holster. The original finish rates about 96%, and the majority of the actual finish loss is on the front strap. The profile views are minty, with just hints of high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with correct black plastic Mauser grips. The bore has strong rifling and is mostly shiny, but there is some light freckling in the grooves. De-cocker is functional. A crisp 1944 Mauser P.38 that comes complete as a rig.
