Description
7/31/26 - Following the strict manufacturing limits imposed by the Treaty of Versailles after World War I, DWM pivoted its world-class production lines to the commercial export market. This excellent 1920s DWM Commercial Luger, chambered in .30 Luger, is an excellent surviving example of Weimar-era German craftsmanship, featuring all matching serial numbers alongside the proper commercial Crown N nitro proofs The pistol comes housed in a vintage wood presentation case featuring a modern reprint label on the inside lid and includes 34 rounds of .30 caliber ammunition, one unmarked magazine, and one magazine stamped with the Germany export mark. This example is in excellent condition, retaining about 95-96% of its original finish, exhibiting minor high edge wear, some light handling marks on the front strap, as well as very minor thinning and light freckling along the barrel. It is fitted with a pair of minty, un-numbered wood grips, though there is a small chip present in the corner of the left side panel, directly beneath the safety. Excellent, shiny bore, with very few signs of use.
