2/24/26- Here we have a very nice all-matching Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless with its Colt Factory Archive Letter for sale. This example was manufactured in 1940. This pistol was shipped to J.L. Galef & Son, Inc. on September 20th, 1940. It was a prominent New York City-based forearms wholesaler and importer. The pistol retains a very nice high polish blue throughout rating at about 95-96%. There is light general high edge wear on the handgun and, most notably, a small area on the left side of the muzzle that shows finish loss and a bit of scuffing. There is also some pitting on the rear of the slide. The pistol has excellent period correct wooden grips without any cracks. Bore is in mint condition. The pistol comes with its original Colts Archive Letter in the proper envelope. Also included is a copy of pages from J.L. Galef & Son's 1939 World' Fair Issue catalogue showing the listings for various Colt firearms including the 1903 Pocket Hammerless.
