Description

12/12/19 - This is an excellent and original Colt M1911A1 rig, manufactured in 1944 and issued to the US Army.  The original finish rates at about 97% with minor muzzle wear and some finish loss where the slide meets the front of the frame.  There is also a small area of freckling on the right side of the slide, near the muzzle.  Beautiful straps and all correct inspector marks.  Colt marked barrel with small 'F' proof.  Bore shows good rifling but minor frost throughout.  Comes with an original Graton & Knight made holster, which is dated 1943.
