Description
10/14/26 - This is an excellent example of a Sauer 38h sold in the commercial market during WW2. Introduced by J.P. Sauer & Sohn of Suhl in 1938, the 38h was one of the most advanced pocket pistols of its day, with a double-action trigger, a concealed hammer and a hammer-decocking lever, and commercial examples like this one were often privately purchased by German officers and officials. This one is all matching and "Eagle N" proofed with no military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 95% of its original finish with just minor muzzle wear and one small area of spotty wear on the right side of the slide. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips with noticeable cracking and chipping on the right side, and comes with a proper wartime magazine. Mint bore, 10/10.
