SOLD - Excellent Czech CZ 38 Rig (280431 - 16351)

Description

6/18/21 - This is an excellent example of a Czech CZ Model 38 Rig, manufactured in 1939. The gun is all matching and has the proper Czech lion proofs. This gun was initially part of a Czech contract, but may have been issued to the Nazi military after they captured the factory - this gun is in the correct serial range. The rig comes with two period-correct magazines and a waffen-proofed 1940-dated Genschow holster. These holsters were made for the CZ 38 and are quite rare. Fits the gun well. The gun itself has retained about 97% of its high polish finish. Hints of wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Tiny dots of oxidation and small handling marks throughout. There is an area of scratching on the right side of the frame and small areas of very minor pitting here and there on the right side of the gun. Excellent grip - no chips or cracks. Minty bore.
