Description
1/14/26 - This is an excellent example of a 1944 Dual Tone P.38 with a blued barrel and a phosphate finish on the slide and frame. All matching with the proper "Waffen 135" military acceptance proofs. This one has retained about 97% of its original finish. The majority of the wear comes in the form of very minor thinning on the front strap, so the profile views are near-mint. One small spot of discoloration on the left side of the slide. There is an interesting linear casting flaw in the front strap. Fitted with correct black plastic Mauser grips. Comes with a "Waffen 135"-proofed Mauser magazine. Factory-new bore. De-cocker is functional.
