Description
5/22/26 - This is an excellent example of a Walther PP sold in the commercial market in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" proofs. It has a lightweight duraluminum or "dural" alloy frame, a rare design feature that was produce by Dürener Metallwerke from 1909. Early dural frames are anodized in dark-blue tone, later they were painted with a black lacquer. This one has retained about 96-97% of its original finish with just very minor muzzle / high edge wear and the slightest hints of thinning on the grip straps. Fitted with correct black grips and comes with a scarce, late-war, "W" marked magazine. Very nice bore with great rifling.
