Description
2/17/26 - This is an excellent example of an end-of-production, commercial Walther PPK from 1944. This was the last year that Walther produced the PPK, with the final serial numbers in the 430xxxK range. This shows just how late this particular PPK was produced. Interestingly, this one is marked with an upside-down 'P' on the frame. We've observed this on other late-war examples but we are unsure the significance. This PPK features the late Duraluminum alloy frame, dressed with an appropriate late-war black bakelite grip. The grip is in excellent shape aside from a crack on the top of the spine of the grip. The finish of this Walther is about 97%, with only a hint of wear on the muzzle and high edges. The anodized finish looks thin on the front strap, but likely left the factory this way. The bore is nice with a bright finish and crisp rifling. Comes with a proper late war magazine.
