Description
3/15/26 - This is an excellent example of an Erfurt Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. It is Erfurt proofed, Imperial military proofed, and has some "Crown RC" arsenal markings. The gun is all matching including the firing pin but it looks to have been stamped over. The gun comes as a rig with two original matching-numbered magazines, and a period-correct tan leather holster in excellent condition. The holster has a maker stamp that is difficult to see and a ink stamp reading "B.A.XI" The gun has retained about 95% of its original finish with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, slide wear, and a line of deep wear on the left toggle. The straw on the small parts remains mostly intact with most of the wear showing on the takedown lever and trigger. Fitted with excellent matching-numbered wood grips. Bore is bright but the rifling has smoothed some from use.
