Description
5/11/26 - This is an excellent example of a Sauer 38h issued to the Nazi police force during WW2. All matching with the proper "Eagle C" police proof and an early high polish blued finish. It also has the early checkered magazine release button. It comes as a rig with one blued-bottom magazine (numbered on the spine but not matching to the gun), one zinc-bottom magazine, and an un-issued 1942-dated tan leather police holster. The gun has retained about 94-95% of its original finish with some minor spotty wear around the muzzle, some wear at the bottom of the back strap, one small dot of discoloration on the left side of the slide, and a few small handling marks on both grip straps. Fitted with excellent period-correct black bakelite grips. Minty bore.
