Description
10/20/26 - This is an excellent example of a High Standard "The Victor" Military in .22 LR, manufactured around 1975 at the company's Hamden, Connecticut facility. Introduced in the early 1970s as High Standard's competition-oriented target pistol, the Victor refined the military-grip platform with a heavy barrel and ventilated rib, Patridge front sight, fully adjustable rear sight, gold-finished trigger and controls, and stippled grip straps, giving it a long sighting plane and the crisp single-action trigger for which the Victor became known. It comes with one magazine, the owner's manual, extra screws, and a small front rail. The original finish rates about 95%; the majority of the finish loss comes in the form of very minor thinning and light brown patina on the grip straps, along with some small marks and scratches here and there. Fitted with excellent period-correct target-style wood grips. Minty bore, 9.5/10.
