Description

11/29/23 - This is an excellent example of a Colt Model 1911A1 manufactured in 1944. It is all-correct, has the proper "United States Property" marking, and the proper US military cross-canon cartouche. This one, however, has British proofs throughout, indicating it was part of the WW2 British Lend-Lease Program. Colt barrel with large 'G' under lug. It has retained about 95-96% of its parkerized finish, as there isn't much actual finish loss but minor high point wear and some light surface scratches. Comes with excellent grips that have minor handling wear. Minty bore. Little magazine.
