3/19/25 - Presenting an authentic Luftwaffe Pilot Badge manufacture by Brüder Schneider AG in Vienna. Constructed from two high quality zinc pieces, the badge features a wreath that has retained most of its original silver finish, with just some slight tarnishing in the recesses. The eagle is stunning, with nuanced details remaining crisply visible. The obverse exhibits an even, pleasing patina, while the reverse bears the distinctive BSW “clover leaf” maker’s mark. Nearly all of the original finish remains intact on the reverse, with only minimal bubbling in select areas. The hardware and rivets are textbook BSW standards, showing no signs of repair, and the round, magnetic wire attachment pin functions perfectly.
