Description
7/20/26 - This is an original WWI Mauser Model 1914 holster, manufactured in 1915 with an included nickel-bodied magazine. The interior of the flap is ink stamped “B A X / 1915.” The reddish brown pebble grain leather is in excellent overall condition, retaining strong color and shape with mild distressing, scattered handling marks, and light edge wear. There is slight cracking along the upper flap, a few missing stitches where the flap joins the body on the left side, and several missing stitches on the belt loop. The remaining stitching appears original and are largely intact. The closure strap and hardware remain complete and functional, and the interior leather is clean with only normal age and contact wear. The included nickel-bodied magazine is also in excellent condition, showing light rub wear, mild polishing, and scattered surface artifacts from age and use.
