1/15/26 - This is an excellent example of a Mossberg Model 44 rifle, chambered in .22 LR and used to train the US military during WW2. It is "US Property" marked on the receiver and barrel. Equipped with a period-correct Mossberg 4D 4 power scope (excellent, clear optics). The metal parts have retained about 97% of their finish with just a few scratches and handling marks here and there. Excellent wood stock with just a few minor dings and bruises. Mint bore. Comes with one proper magazine.
