4/26/23 - This is an excellent example of an early and hard-to-find National Postal Meter M1 Carbine. All correct and original parts with a parts list included in the photos for the listing. Early, I-cut stock is correct, and some other small parts have the correct, early variation markings for said part. Excellent finish on barrel and receiver with some wear on the recoil plate and a little patina on the receiver. Minty bore. Stock has a very minor surface crack behind the recoil plate but is in good condition otherwise. Only notable defect is that some of the threading on the front barrel band screw is partially stripped.
