5/20/26 - This is an excellent example of a Spanish Astra 300 made for the Nazi military in 1944. All matching numbers. These guns were chambered in two calibers, 9mm kurz and 7.65mm. Of these, 63,000 were 9mm and 22,390 were 7.65mm making this gun the rarer of the two. The 7.65mm guns did not have Waffenamts like the 9mms did. The Nazi contract 7.65mm guns were between SNs 540901-615822. It has been said the Luftwaffe preferred the Astra 300 due to their small size as the cockpits in fighter planes were very tight. This particular gun was delivered on February 24, 1944 in a shipment of 10,000 guns. It has retained nearly all of its finish, but there are some areas of dulling and patina on the grip straps and some light freckling on the top of the slide. Fitted with minty wood grips. Mint bore. It comes as a rig with two proper magazines and an excellent brown leather with visible ink stamps on the inside.
