Description

12/21/22 - This is an excellent of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in October of 1944. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" military proofs. It has a cog hammer. There is an asterisk proof on the barrel, indicating it failed initial inspection and was sent back to the factory for repair. It has retained about 97-98% of its original finish. There is somewhat scratchy wear on the front strap and around the muzzle. Hints of wear on the high edges of the slide. Comes with excellent grips and a jvd/WaA706 magazine. The bore is factory-new. De-cocker is functional. The internals are covered in heavy grease - could use a good cleaning.
