05/16/2024 - For sale is a British No5 Mk1 Lee Enfield "Jungle Carbine" made in January of 1945. The Jungle Carbines were cutdown No4 Enfields with material removed to make a lighter carbine for the pacific theater. This example is 99% condition with minimal finish loss. The stock is in great condition and free of cracks. This example has matching serial numbers on the bolt and receiver. The rubber buttpad is still somewhat soft and not rock solid like how they usually are. The bore is mirror bright and excellent. The rifle comes with a canvas sling.
