02/18/26 - For sale is a rare Gustloff K98k long side rail sniper assembled in 1945. The rifle has a nice phosphate finish with light browning of patina and some speckling of oxidation. The scope and mount have a nice blued finish. The stock is in great shape with light handling dings and nicks. There is a correct C Stamp on the bottom. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The rifle has matching numbers on the barrel, bolt, bolt sleeve, sniper safety, and the cocking piece. The handguard and stock are unnumbered which would be correct for a late 44 rifle. The scope assembly is mismatched. There is an Eagle/WaA359 inspection stamp on the mount and base. The scope is in good shape with a fairly clear lens (a very slight haze) and a sharp reticle. There is some light oxidation on the surface of the scope body.
