4/16/25 - For sale is a French Contract Remington Berthier MLE 1907-15 that was produced as aid to the French Army during WW1. This rifle was likely one of the batches that were rejected by French inspectors for quality that did not meet their standards as there are no proofs or cartouches. The rifle is in clean condition overall with spots of finish loss visible. The buttplate shows corrosion damage. The metal retains a nice military blue finish without much finish loss to note. The stock is in great condition but there is a 0.5" hairline crack at the tang. The bore is bright with strong rifling.
