Description
6/9/26 - This is an excellent example of an AC 43 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. This one is a scarce "small date" variant in the proper "L" serial block. In this block, they used a different die for the "43" in the slide legend, and it is slightly smaller than the standard variant. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. The gun is in excellent condition and has retained about 97% of its finish. Minor muzzle wear with hints of wear on the front edges of the slide. While there is very little actual finish loss, there are some scratches and marks along the barrel and on both sides of the slide. Fitted with period-correct dark brown bakelite grips and comes with a proper "Eagle 359" marked Walther magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
